Payouts and reconciliation

A day's takings settle to one payout — the next working day, matched to the bookings and orders behind them, with nothing to reconcile by hand.

What it does

The books, already balanced.

A day's card takings batch into a single payout — not a transfer for every transaction — and because the booking, the order, and the payment share one record, that payout arrives already reconciled.

One payout

A day's takings arrive as a single payout, ready to match against the service.

Next working day

Each payout settles the next working day, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Matched automatically

Every payment is tied back to its booking and order, so the payout lands already reconciled.

Deposits accounted

Held deposits and captures shown against the right covers.

Fees itemised

Processing fees are broken down per payment, never hidden in the total.

Run through Stripe

Payouts run on Stripe's rolling schedule; the first can take a few working days while the account is verified.

Reconciliation should be a glance, not a second shift after the last guest leaves.

Questions

Payouts and reconciliation, answered.

How does payout reconciliation work?

Each card payment is matched to the booking and order it came from. In Inservo this happens automatically because all three share one record, so the payout arrives already reconciled, with fees itemised and deposits accounted for.

Is each transaction paid out separately?

No. A day's card takings batch into a single payout, not a transfer for every transaction — one figure to match against the service behind it.

When do payouts arrive?

Takings settle to one payout the next working day, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Payouts run through Stripe on a rolling schedule, so your first payout can take a few working days while the account is verified, and timing can vary in exceptional cases — for example, if Stripe needs additional verification or runs a routine risk review.

Are processing fees itemised?

Yes. Fees are broken down per payment, so the effective cost is always visible.
