The system

Payments

Take payment on the same record as the booking and the order — card processing, deposits, and payouts that all reconcile to one ledger.

Part of one system

A payment that doesn’t arrive on its own.

The payment is the booking and the order, settled — one record, no exports, no reconciliation.

Card processing runs at 1.4% + 20p on standard UK cards, online and in-person, captured on the same record as the booking and the order.

Integrations

Powered by Stripe.

Inservo is a Stripe partner, and payments are powered by Stripe — the platform the system is built on. Processing, deposits, and payouts all run on one trusted rail.

Card processing on Stripe

Cards processed securely through Stripe, in person and online.

Deposits and fees

Deposits, no-show, and cancellation charges captured on Stripe.

One payout

Takings settled to the restaurant through Stripe, reconciled to the service.

A payment is the last line of the booking, not a separate event. The system settles it on the one record.

Questions

Payments, answered.

What does restaurant card processing cost with Inservo?

Card processing applies on every plan, whenever a card is charged — a deposit, a cancellation fee, or the full bill. Standard UK cards are 1.4% + 20p, the same in person and online; non-UK and commercial cards are 2.5% + 20p; and Amex or manually keyed cards are 2.95% + 20p. There are no per-cover fees.

When are funds paid out?

Takings settle to one payout the next working day, excluding weekends and bank holidays. Payouts run through Stripe on a rolling schedule, so your first payout can take a few working days while the account is verified, and timing can vary in exceptional cases — for example, if Stripe needs additional verification or runs a routine risk review.

Can deposits and no-show charges be taken on the same record?

Yes. Deposits, pre-authorisations, and cancellation charges are taken the same way as any payment and sit on the booking, so what is held and what is captured are part of one record.
